I had a her styler from the mall kiosks and after 2years one of the plates fell out of it and I can't live without it. thanks for doing this I bought a generic chi from sallys once but it sucked I returned it. I wondered how this one straighted hair I was hoping you would straighten your hair in the video.
I loved my CHI in the beginning but now after a year I can tell it is no where near as hot as it used to be and it takes a lot longer to straighten. The cord also has to be in a certain spot to even get hot. So basically it is about to die. After 1 year. I definetly do not reccomend the CHI due to this fact.
Good information. My sister works for Farouk Systems it's self, she works for the owner and creator of CHI products. To answer your part on some CHI irons have different heat settings. If you have short thin/fine hair I highly recommend the Wee CHI. it is 1.5inch ceramic paltes and you can change the settings on the temperature. I know the one I own is to 140 degrees. Or I also recommend the MINI CHI iron. That one you cannot change the temperature but it works great and it is very portable.
I just got my Pink Chi today, with my jcpenney discount, coupon, it was 62 dollars. I tried it and i love it. Its soft, yet straight with some volume. Most straighteners worked but they didn't give me softness with a touch of volume. I even curled my hair and flipped my hair with it. two style tools in one is a plus. I love my Chi, and i wont go back to conair. Best part about my Chi, it came with 2 oz smoothing chi product. Thanks for the informative review on this product.
