  11. Yeah. I had a flat iron before that should be used when your hair is damp. I like it better if I use my flat iron with dry hair.

  16. can we just use a damp cloth to clean the iron? or is it better to by that special cleaning product for the iron?

  17. oh no definatly not!!! most flat irons are for dry hair and if you try to flat iron it while it is wet it will fry your hair not to mention that they team that it will generate can scortch your scalp. blow dry your hair or wait for it to dr completley before you do it. also you should apply a heat protectant on your hair first.
ps there are a few irons that are wet to dry irons but it will clearly tell you that is what it is intended for. i have heard that these irons do not work well.

  18. I just take a really damp cloth and wipe the plates gently. Sometimes if there is a lot of gunk on the plates, I would scrub water and cloth until it is smooth. I dry it gently and just put it down later. I dont think you need an iron cleaner unless it is REALLY dirty.

whenever I was finished using my flat iron I would wrap the cord around the iron :/ I'm getting a CHI this Chirstmas, so that was a very helpful tip.(:
