I'm planning to buy the GA.MA Tourmaline Laser Ion straightener. Tried it once at the salon and it's fantastic considering I have wavy, thick hair. After some research on the net, I found that there are two models for this - CP1 and CP3. I'm confused because the product description for both, are the same! Can anyone tell me the difference between the two?
uvibestore, com best quality flat irons! great selection of colors, FREE SHIPPING!! SO happy WIth my flat iron bought there!!! crazy prices!!!!!!!! u have to check it out!
Here's the problem with CHI, their irons don't have adjustable temperature controls. If you're hair is stubborn and needs something that will get hotter it's best to look at a Solia or a Sedu.
I'm looking to get a new flat iron. This was a very helpful video, but I'm still wondering what is everyone's favorite? Reply or comment on my facebook or blog
Im about to invest in a CHI flat iron. Is it really a good quality iron? The one im buying is around $105 and im willing to pay that IF its worth it because I hate cheap low quality products that don't work! Plus I have thick African american hair that is kinda stubborn and I need an iron that will get hot enough for me..Somebody please respond...:-)
the thickness of the plates is dependent on the length of your hair and how well it reacts to flat ironing. So if your hair is thick and hard to straighten I would suggest the 1.5 inch because it covers more hair and will straighten it better without having to make many passes over one section of hair. If you want to be able to flip and curl your hair, as well - you could go with the 1 inch Sedu Revolution which has a curved edge. Hope this helped!!
Remington straightners are way better then GHDs and Remingtons way more affordable idk about conair but that was my 1st hair straightner ever ! And it snagged my hair and gave me split ends ha ha but I love my Remington and simply hot hair straightners I go on the lowest of low of the heat because my hair just a lil wavy but not overly wavy and I love how now I don't straightn my hair as often as I used to my hair is growing yay ;) omg all I do is ramble ok ima shut up lol xo
i am thinking of buying the GHD Limited Edition Pink Orchid but what heating unit is that? and is this good for me can i choose what temperature I want to set it for?
For anyone who is looking fora good iron, do NOT choose Revlon. The one i have sucks and i hate it. It damged my hair so much and the plates werent even lined up straight.
This video surprisingly contains many errors. 1) PTC vs PTFC(MCH) heaters: the difference is NOT in FIR, but in the speed of the power ramp or temperature rise. MCH or in another name PTFC is 3x to 5x faster than PTC.
2) The FIR is generated by the heated plate, and depends on the material of the plate, not the heater.
3) There is 100% ceramic plate, or coated ceramic plate. There is never a 100% tourmaline plate. The so-called tourmaline plate is coated by mix of ceramic & tourmaline powder.

ReplyDeleteany kind of heat to hair is damaging. Just because its ptfc or whatever does not mean the hair is not getting damaged.
ReplyDeletei was going to ask that cuz thats the type that i have bur it leaves hot spots
ReplyDeleteWow!!!Nice vid!Thanks a lot!
ReplyDeleteVery good advice, thanks a lot. I will be purchasing a good flat iron thanks to you...thanks you bunches!!:-)
